About Us

Happy Summer Everyone.

Our school's office will be closed for the summer on Tuesday July 7th.  It will reopen on Monday August 31 (8:00 am to 3:30 pm).

We will be working closely with the Ministry of Education and the Minister of Health over the summer and following their recommendations for school start up in September. All our plans are contingent on the province's management of Covid 19 over the summer. We will officially notify parents in August of school start up for September.  Tentatively the first day of school is Tuesday September 8 (am - half day homecoming) for grades 1 to 6.   Kindergarten students do not start on Tuesday September 8.  Please follow the schedule emailed to Kindergarten parents in July or use this link: Kindergarten Gradual Entry 2020 2021.pdf

New to the Royston Area and need to register your children at our school?  Effective June 30, 2020, schools will no longer be accepting new registrations.  All new students will register through the online registration process located on our school district website. This digital centralized registration will be available from June 30 and will run until September 11.  LINK TO ONLINE REGISTRATION
For those requiring access to the Internet, the School Board Office will provide computer access, as well as any assistance to those who require it.

The School Board Office will be open
Monday to Friday 9 am – 3 pm.

At the time of your online registration, please make sure you submit the following required documents:
       1.      YOUR CHILD’S BIRTH CERTIFICATE
       2.      PROOF OF RESIDENCE (UTILITY BILL/DRIVER’S LICENSE/PURCHASE OR RENTAL AGREEMENT)
       3.      CARE CARD
Due to an increase in enrollment, we cannot guarantee placement in neighbourhood schools. Every effort will be made to contact new registrants prior to September 11.
